Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Sales and Store Assistant to join our busy team in the UK. Based at our location, you will play a key role in supporting daily store operations, assisting customers, and ensuring smooth inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Receive, check, and sign for incoming goods.
- Verify goods against supplier paperwork with attention to detail.
- Complete purchase orders using computer systems.
- Produce Goods Received Notes (GRN) and returns notes as needed.
- Allocate customer orders against received stock.
- Generate delivery notes for customer shipments and notify customers accordingly.
- Maintain stock levels on showroom shelves and keep warehouse tidy.
- Assist customers at the trade counter and handle inquiries efficiently.
- Qualifications
- Good communication skills and computer literacy.
- Practical mindset with good literacy and numeracy standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of welding is advantageous but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
