Our Engineering Facility is undergoing extensive refurburbishment and an opportunity presents itself for a detail orientated person to design, improve, maintain and facilitate regular cleaning and maintenance routines to exceptional standards.
Site Managerial, Janitorial or Caretaker experience would be useful but not essential as every application will be judged on its own merits. An attention to detail and an ability to work under your own initiative is an important part of the role. An ability to problem solve to come up with independent solutions is also essential to the role. A understanding of future proof housekeeping and maintenance tasks is important as the role will involve developing and initiating your own cleaning and maintenance routines.
The job is full time and will be subject to a 3 month probationary period to assess potential training requirements and suitability to the role. Job Description
This is a permanent position, working a 37-hour week, Monday to Thursday 8.15am-4.45pm and Friday 8.15am-2.45pm. 33 Days Annual Holiday Leave.
We are looking for a Site Manager/Caretaker
Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean areas per checklist.
- Help maintain clean and efficient workplace.
- Any other relevant duties as required by the business
Education and Work Experience - Training will be given
- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently with limited supervision.
- Demonstrate basic understanding of HSE working safely.
- Full UK driving licence desirable.
