Kitchen assistant required for small residential home in Thorngumbald, near Hedon.
3pm to 6pm, 4 days one week, 3 days the other (includes alternate weekends).
Duties will include preparing and serving afternoon tea and evening meal, cleaning the kitchen and refilling stock afterwards. Ensuring food hygiene practices are adhered to at all times.
The home provides 24 hour care for 20 older service users with a variety of needs including stroke, dementia and Parkinson's disease.
Experience of working within a care home environment would be an advantage as would knowledge of elderly dietary requirements.
Weekly pay on Friday
