Relief / Mobile Cleaner – Hereford and Surrounding Areas
Adapt Commercial Cleaning is recruiting reliable Relief / Mobile Cleaners to support our teams across Hereford and the surrounding areas. This role involves covering holidays and absences, as well as providing additional support across multiple sites and contracts. This is a permanent position within a well-established company operating across Wales, the South West and the West Midlands.

Hours: 4.00am–8.00am (minimum 20 hours per week)
Days: Working 5 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday, including weekends as required
Pay: £13.65 per hour
Travel time and mileage are paid
Contract: Permanent
The role
You will carry out general cleaning duties across a variety of sites, including schools, offices, medical surgeries and retail premises. Duties include dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and ensuring all areas are clean, safe and maintained to a high standard at the end of each shift.
This is a relief position, so flexibility is important. Work may be planned in advance; however, there will also be occasions where you receive a call to attend a site at short notice to provide cover. You will travel between sites as required, work in line with established cleaning procedures, and support operational requirements across the business.
You will also be required to operate cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, wet vacuums and scrubber dryers. All cleaning products and equipment must be used safely and correctly, with any maintenance or health and safety concerns reported to Head Office or the relevant site contact.
About you
We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work, with good attention to detail. You should be comfortable working independently and adapting to different sites and environments.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport are essential for this role due to travel between sites.
Previous cleaning experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided. Basic English is required to communicate effectively.
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role and will be arranged and paid for by Adapt Commercial Cleaning.
