Rail Plant Fitter
£18.50 - £32 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on RRVs and rail plant equipment
- Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults
- Complete inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Ensure all work is completed to industry safety standards
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
- Work closely with workshop and site teams to minimise downtime
- Attend breakdowns and carry out emergency repairs when required
Requirements (desirable:
- Previous experience working as an RRV Fitter or Plant Fitter
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
- Ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently
- Full UK driving licence & PTS ticket
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
