The main purpose of your role as our Digital Marketing Manager is to lead and accelerate our digital marketing performance, driving sales growth through best-in-class execution across all digital channels. This role is responsible for our digital presence end-to-end, from paid and organic channels to website performance, SEO, and affiliates while managing a Marketing Executive and working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver commercial results.

Affiliate Programme & Partner Relationships
- Lead and grow the affiliates programme across multiple comparison sites, building strong, commercially productive relationships with partners.
- Proactively identify and develop new affiliate and partnership opportunities to expand reach and drive incremental sales.
- Manage performance across the affiliate network, tracking contribution to overall sales targets and optimising agreements.
Paid & Organic Digital Channels
- Own the digital marketing plan and manage media budgets across paid search, paid social, display, online video, and influencer marketing.
- Oversee SEO strategy, ensuring it evolves consistently, with a focus on local SEO and report on organic conversion growth.
- Manage agency relationships (including paid media and SEO agencies), briefing and holding them accountable to performance targets.
- Develop test-and-learn frameworks to drive innovation and efficiencies across all paid and organic activity.
Website & Conversion
- Oversee the website, taking ownership of performance, user experience, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor website traffic, analyse core KPIs, and develop a testing strategy to improve conversion rates.
- Own the marketing relationship with the development team and agency to improve buying journeys and optimise conversion to customer, product uptake, and dropout.
Email Marketing & SMS
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns across the full customer lifecycle from lead nurture and cold data reactivation through to customer retention and upsell.
- Own SMS marketing activity, including abandoned basket recovery, lead follow-up, and cold data engagement campaigns.
- Develop segmentation strategies to ensure the right message reaches the right audience at the right time, maximising conversion and minimising unsubscribes.
- Monitor deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and conversion metrics; continuously test and optimise subject lines, content, timing, and audience segments.
- Manage the email and SMS platform, ensuring data hygiene, compliance with GDPR, and best-practice consent management.
Analytics, Reporting & Insight
- Analyse and report on campaign and channel performance; recommend optimisation actions to drive continuous improvement.
- Work with data and analytics teams to build reporting infrastructure and generate meaningful, actionable insight.
- Understand and interpret all available data to develop ongoing targeting improvements and audience strategies.
People Management
- Line manage and develop a Marketing Executive, setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and supporting their growth.
