As a Bank Community Support Worker, you’ll support service users in their own homes as part of our Integrated Network Teams (INTs) across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
Our INTs bring together nurses, therapists, paramedics, and support workers who take a holistic, person-centred approach to care. You’ll be welcomed into busy, supportive teams and play a key role in helping people remain safe, independent, and well in their local communities.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Supporting service users with personal care and daily living activities in a community setting
Assisting registered professionals with delegated clinical and therapeutic tasks
Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
Contributing to holistic, person-centred care and rehabilitation plans
Helping to maintain a safe, comfortable environment for service users and carers
Reporting concerns and changes in a service user’s condition to senior staff
Developing your skills through paid training, supervision, and in-team support

Please be aware: you will need to undertake at least one shift within a three-month rolling period to remain on the bank.

How Does it Work?

If shortlisted, you will be invited to a face-to-face interview
If offered the role, attend a face-to-face Sirona induction
During your first two weeks, you will complete an extended clinical induction to ensure you are equipped with the tools and knowledge needed before picking up shifts
You will then complete orientation shifts to meet the team and undertake clinical skills sign-off
Once orientation is completed, you will have access to an app where you can view upcoming shifts and book direct
