Warehouse Operative
£12.71 per hour | Full Time | Monday to Friday | 10:00 – 19:00
At Aalco Chepstow, every order that reaches a customer on time starts with the warehouse team. Our operation depends on people who take pride in doing things properly, working safely and supporting the team around them.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse. This is a hands on role within a fast paced environment where accuracy, teamwork and a strong work ethic are essential.
You will be part of a small, dedicated team responsible for preparing customer orders, handling materials safely and ensuring deliveries leave the warehouse on time and to the high standards our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Unloading deliveries safely while checking incoming materials
- Cutting materials using warehouse saw machinery to customer specifications
- Loading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Moving materials around the warehouse and storing stock correctly
- Following warehouse systems and procedures to maintain an organised and efficient operation
- Working safely at all times and adhering to company health and safety policies
- Supporting colleagues and contributing positively to the team
What We’re Looking For
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift experience would be an advantage
- Physically fit and comfortable working in an active role
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Able to work effectively as part of a small team
- Good attention to detail and a strong safety mindset
