Are you a resource management expert passionate about driving operational excellence and strategic growth? Our London-based maintenance services company, serving residential, commercial, and industrial clients across all M&E, Building Fabric, Plumbing & Drainage, Leak Detection, Fire Safety, and Environmental Services, is seeking a dynamic Head of Resource Operations to help us deliver outstanding service across the Home Counties and beyond.
The Opportunity
In this pivotal senior role, you will oversee and anticipate the operational demands of a fast-scaling organisation. Your mission: to ensure recruitment, induction, and training of frontline operatives, and to secure the vehicles, equipment, and plant they need, always staying one step ahead of forecasted requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage resource planning for current needs and anticipated growth across Southern and Eastern England.
- Lead and continuously improve recruitment and training programmes for operatives across all trades.
- Oversee sourcing, leasing, and maintenance of our growing fleet, plus procurement of essential plant and equipment.
- Collaborate with Operations, HR, and Commercial teams to ensure proactive resource mobilisation for existing and new contracts.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and safety.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the maintenance services industry, with at least 5 years in a senior resource management or operational lead role.
- Strong expertise in resource forecasting, asset management, and large-scale recruitment and training.
- Proven ability to lead multi-trade teams and drive complex, cross-functional projects.
- A successful track record in supporting rapid business growth through effective operational leadership.
