Nenplas limited are currently looking for an experienced machine operator who is either familiar with working on plastic extrusion machines, or has a mechanical aptitude and happy to learn new skills. The role will be working as part of our experienced team and would suit a pro-active individual looking to work in a Company committed to high standards.
The role will report to the shift cell leader and once fully trained will be required to set and operate plastic extrusion machines on a rotating 8-hour/ 3 shift system.
The key responsibilities for the role are as follows: -
- H&S for yourself as well as others around you.
- Ensuring that the quality of the product being used is in line with customer expectations.
- Ensuring that the product matches the retained sample.
- Ensuring that the line is running in line with the standard times that have been set for the job.
- Ensuring that all paperwork is filled in accurately and correctly.
- Ensuring housekeeping standards online are set up and maintained during production.
- Required to adhere to and support all companies policies and procedures.
- Technical training will be provided for the right candidate.
Previous experience of working in a fast paced plastic extrusion manufacturing environment would be advantageous but not essential.
