Job Title: HVAC Maintenance / Service Engineer
Salary: £40,000 -50,000 per annum
Working Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00 Covering London and Southeast (Mainly within M25). Will need to be on call out rota 1 in every 6 weeks (Paying £150 for being on call and door to door pay, if called out)
Van, Uniform, Petrol Card, Mobile phone, expenses card for parking.

A well-established building services and maintenance contractor is looking for an experienced HVAC Maintenance / Service Engineer to join their growing maintenance team.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys a varied role covering planned preventative maintenance, reactive callouts, and minor project work across commercial sites.
The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining and servicing a range of HVAC systems while ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently. The role includes both scheduled maintenance and responding to breakdowns.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planned preventative maintenance across HVAC and mechanical systems
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on plant and equipment
- Servicing air conditioning systems including VRV/VRF, splits and multi systems
- Maintenance of chillers, pumps, air handling units, ventilation systems and chilled water systems
- Completing accurate service records and reports
- Participating in an out-of-hours call out rota
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and site teams
- Ensuring all works comply with health & safety regulations
What We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will be a practical, self-motivated engineer with strong fault-finding ability and experience working on commercial HVAC systems.
Essential:
- NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Heating & Ventilation or similar
- Strong experience in fault finding and HVAC maintenance
- Experience with VRV/VRF, split systems and ventilation equipment
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualification
- F-Gas / City & Guilds 2079 certification
- Mechanical maintenance experience across commercial systems
- Electrical knowledge or installation qualification
- Experience supervising apprentices or junior engineers
