This role requires mandatory weekend availability.
The successful applicant must be available to work every:
- Saturday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
- Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
In addition you must be flexible to work Bank Holidays and Events and cover Annual Leave. In addition be available to attend training sessions, with notice in advance.

The Role
We’re looking for a friendly, knowledgeable In-Store Product Specialist to join our Dewsbury showroom, recently recognized as a top independent nursery store in the UK. This role is perfect for someone who loves helping parents, enjoys hands-on retail, and is excited to become a product expert.
You’ll work part-time including weekends, supporting the Store Manager with all aspects of showroom operations, while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Be the friendly face for parents: offer expert advice, guide purchases, and make baby shopping simple and enjoyable.
- Become a specialist in up to six departments, and share your knowledge.
- Host events for expectant and new parents, and provide personal shopping experiences.
- Use our technology: from social media engagement to in-store video sales, creating seamless experiences for customers at home.
- Support store operations: merchandising, restocking, inventory, maintaining a clean and presentable retail floor.
- Handle sales accurately: daily transactions, deposits, and resolve escalated customer issues.
Who We’re Looking For
- Previous retail or shop floor experience (nursery or baby product experience is a bonus).
- Passion for excellent customer service and helping parents make confident decisions.
- Show intiative and a genuine interest in products
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to work.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 13.5 per week
