Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Property Surveyor to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and analysing property conditions, conducting surveys, and providing accurate reports to support property management and Level 2 and Level 3 Home buyer reports. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive surveys of residential Level 2 and level 3 homebuyer reports to assess condition, value, and compliance with regulations.
- Analyse survey data to identify issues related to structural integrity, environmental hazards, or legal compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, recommendations, and potential actions for clients or internal teams.
- Collaborate with clients, estate agents, architects, and local authorities to gather relevant information and clarify survey requirements.
- Utilise specialised equipment and software to measure property features accurately and record survey data efficiently.
- Keep detailed records of all surveys conducted, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality are maintained at all times.
- Stay updated on current legislation, industry standards, and best practices relevant to property assessment and valuation.
Qualifications
- Proven analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
- Prior experience in property surveying or a related field is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to prepare clear reports and liaise effectively with stakeholders.
- A recognised qualification in surveying or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for site visits across various locations.
