Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare customised sandwiches and salads according to customer specifications, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and serve with efficiency and professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including counters, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Upsell additional menu items to enhance customer experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, including proper food handling and hygiene practices
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions and portioning ingredients accurately
- Experience in kitchen environments or culinary roles will be beneficial
- Strong time management skills are essential to handle peak hours efficiently
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance
Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
