Our cardboard / paper recycling client based in Sittingbourne is looking for a sorter / labourer / admin assistant to join their team on an ongoing bases working on the night shift working at 4pm - midnight (with overtime available from time to time).
This is a great opportunity to join a big company with lots of opportunity to progress. The site deals with bails of cardboard which get sorted and sent off to be recycled, you will be checking the quality of the loads coming into the site, breaking down 2 or 3 bails from each load to check them for quality and then resorting / bailing. You will also be helping with some admin work so it would suit someone organised. Apart from that you may also need to help around the yard, sorting, moving bails, sweeping, cleaning down machinery and general site maintenance. There will also be the chance to train on the forklifts and possibly increase your earnings, so any previous forklift experience would be beneficial but not essential.
The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 4pm - midnight and as mentioned this role with be ongoing.
We pay £13.07 per hour, paid weekly.
