Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Chef/Barista to join our vibrant team at The Radiance House a new fitness and wellbeing centre. This role involves preparing high-quality food and beverages, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a flair for food presentation, strong organisational skills, and experience in both food preparation and coffee making. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary and barista skills within a dynamic setting.
Duties
- Prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffees and teas, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist in food preparation, including assembling meal's according to established recipes.
- Serve customers efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage stock levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is necessary.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and procedures.
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic food preparation skills with attention to detail in presentation.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Effective time management to prioritise tasks and maintain service quality under pressure. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences through quality food and beverages while working in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: £5,000.00-£37,500.00 per year
