Starting Pay Rate: £17p/h
Summary
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations. Your core skills in driving and commercial driving will be essential in navigating various routes, while your premium expertise in flatbed driving will allow you to handle diverse cargo types. With relevant experience as a delivery driver, you will contribute to our commitment to excellent service and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently for transportation of goods.
- Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards.
- Manage loading and unloading of flatbed cargo, ensuring secure transport.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate effectively with dispatch and team members.
