Job Summary
As our Trusts and Corporate Fundraiser, you will play a key role in securing sustainable funding from charitable trusts, foundations and corporate partners. You will be responsible for developing a strong pipeline of prospects, writing compelling funding applications and building long-term relationships that support the Finding Freedom from abuse mission. You will also contribute to raising the charity's profile among Corporate Organisations and other key stakeholders, to maximise revenue and other support.
Duties
· Research, identify and prioritise suitable trusts and foundations
· Write high-quality funding applications, expressions of interest and reports
· Manage a portfolio of trust funders, ensuring excellent stewardship
· Monitor deadlines, reporting requirements and funding outcomes
· Identify and cultivate new corporate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
· Manage and grow existing corporate relationships
· Develop tailored proposals aligned to corporate objectives
· Work collaboratively on fundraising campaigns, events and appeals
· Work closely with service delivery teams to gather case study content, data and outcomes
· Ensure all fundraising activity reflects Finding Freedom from abuse values and impact
· Represent the charity professionally with external stakeholders
· Attend speaking engagements and networking events to promote the work of the Charity
· Plan and deliver local campaigns and events that inspire community support.
· Work with local businesses and groups to co-create impactful fundraising activities.
· Create, maintain and provide resources and packs for community use.
Work with colleagues but also lead on social media activity that promotes fundraising and celebrates supporter achievements. Also support the charity's wider social media activity to raise awareness
· Build and maintain strong relationships with funders and stakeholders
· Deliver high-quality, timely reports to funders, demonstrating impact and outcomes
· Maintain oversight of grant compliance and funding conditions
· Represent the charity across audiences and events
· Share relevant information internally and report complaints appropriately
· Ensure all fundraising activity complies with the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Practice and relevant policies.
· Maintain confidentiality of supporter, survivor, staff, and volunteer information.
· Support the CEO with reports to the Trustees on fundraising performance and pipelines.
Experience
· Good standard of education
· At least 2 years of experience in fundraising
· Planning and producing quality applications, bids and proposals
· Experience of successfully delivering against financial targets within a fundraising role and within specified deadlines.
· Experience of building and maintaining positive and productive relationships with supporters
· Experience of using social media to promote fundraising campaigns or to engage supporters
· Experience of using a CRM or equivalent system to manage supporter engagement.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and writing fundraising materials.
· Creative, confident self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively.
· Developing and managing successful stakeholder relationships
· Writing, editing and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
· Empathy with the issues affecting vulnerable people.
· High level of computer literacy in office- based software and applications
· High level of organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
· Passion for the charity’s mission and a genuine interest in contributing to positive social change
· Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Pay: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
