What’s the Role?
As a Class 1 HGV Driver at Part Tech, you’ll operate a wide range of vehicles across our fleet — from 3.5t recovery trucks to 7-car transporters.
You’ll be responsible for collecting and transporting a variety of end-of-life vehicles, including:
- Scrap vehicles
- Trade-in stock
- High-value resale units
You’ll work with major industry partners such as Copart and BCA, as well as private customers and businesses, delivering vehicles to our main yard or between company sites.
This is more than a standard driving role — it’s a specialist position where precision, care, and professionalism are essential.

What We’re Looking For
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Class 1 or recovery driving
- Strong knowledge of load security, strapping, and recovery techniques
- Calm, professional approach when dealing with customers or damaged vehicles
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Good understanding of UK driving hours and compliance regulations
- Comfortable using mobile apps for job sheets, photos, and delivery logs
