Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic all rounder to join the team at Somewhere Different in Sheffield.
This hospitality venue include a Gallery of Illusions, BoardGame Cafe, Kids Play area and Gift Shop.
You will work as part of a small team, working initially up to 16 hours a week, however if you are good, we could extend this to full time. You will need to be available to work weekends and some evenings, however if most cases your hours will match the opening hours of the business. You will be flexible in your approach.
Your wage can be negotiated depending on what ability and experience you bring to the role.
Your main focus will be:
Generating Sales for the attraction both in person, and online. You should easily be able to connect with people and perhaps even already have connections.
Working at the venue, you will create a great customer experience.
Working with the team to create content on social media for the attraction.
You should
- be extremely confident, able to talk to people and proactive in approaching people
- Be creative in your thinking
- Comfortable dealing with customers. Be an effective communicator.
- Problem solve and deal able to deal with any issues as they crop up.
- Be presentable and outgoing, lead by example

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
