About the Role
You’ll work closely with the Head of Sales to oversee daily showroom activity, support Sales Executives, and maximise department profitability. This is a hands-on position where you’ll be involved in deal structuring, customer interaction, team development, and performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Support, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets and delivery excellent customer service.
- Oversee and follow up all enquiries to maximise conversion rates.
- Assist customers with finance, insurance, and additional product options.
- Monitor sales performance, profitability, and weekly departmental results.
- Review pricing, part-exchange valuations, and deal structures to protect margin
- Ensure compliance with FCA guidelines and company sales processes.
- Maintain accurate administration, records, and reporting standards.
- Liaise with management, manufacturer representatives, and finance partners
- Identify training needs and help develop team capability
- Maintain professional showroom presentation and operational standards.
- Contribute to marketing activity, promotions, and new model launches.
What we’re looking for
- Experience within a dealership sales environment (Transaction Manager or Similar role preferred)
- Strong understanding of automotive finance, compliance, and sales processes
- Proven ability to achieve targets and improve team performance
- Commercial awareness with a focus on profitability
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisation skills
- Self-motivated, professional, and customer-focused approach
- Full UK Driving Licence
