Cleaning Operative (Social Welfare Contract)
Luminare Services, a growing North West cleaning company, is looking for a reliable, compassionate Cleaning Operative to join us on a social welfare contract in Dudley (DY2).
This is more than just a cleaning role. You'll be working within supported accommodation and housing environments where residents may be vulnerable or require additional support. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and treats everyone with dignity, respect, and professionalism.
The Role at a Glance
- Location: DY2, Dudley
- Frequency: One clean per month
- Hours: 8 hours per visit
- Pay: £12.71 per hour
- Contract Type: Casual
- Start Date: Immediate start available
What You'll Be Doing
- Cleaning communal areas within supported housing schemes.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in shared lounges, kitchens, corridors, toilets, and entrance areas.
- Following cleaning schedules and site-specific requirements.
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely in accordance with COSHH guidance.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or welfare concerns to management.
- Completing basic timesheets and cleaning records as required.

Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred, or the ability to travel reliably to the site.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Satisfactory employment references.
