The Rose, in Deal, is looking for a Chef de Partie Chef to join our award-winning kitchen. Under the creative guidance of Executive Chef Nuno Mendes (previously at Chiltern Firehouse and Lisboeta, both in London), The Rose is committed to using the finest local ingredients, with seasonality the key to every dish.

The Rose is a hotel, restaurant & bar in the heart of Deal, on the East Kent Coast, that opened in 2018. Since then The Rose has become something of an institution in the area, continuing to draw locals and visitors alike and gaining attention from press and influencers. The Role:
As our Chef de Partie Chef, you’ll be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality dishes that reflect The Rose’s unique character and culinary standards.
Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing and cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner services to a high standard
- Managing prep and stock
- Ensuring cleanliness and food safety are always top priority
- Working closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth service

- Previous experience in a similar chef role
- A genuine passion for food and hospitality
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work early shifts, including weekends
