RF Solutions Ltd is a well-established UK design and manufacturer of radio modules and remote-control systems. Since 1992, we have grown consistently to become a recognised leader in the RF industry. In 2014, we relocated to a purpose-built 20,000 sq. ft facility in West Sussex, where we continue to innovate and broaden our product range.
As a result of strong demand for our products, we currently have opportunities for:
- Production Assistants – Suitable for candidates looking to develop a career in electronics manufacturing. Duties include component preparation, PCB population, product testing, assembly, and general production support. Full training will be provided.
- Production Operators – Suitable for candidates with previous electronics manufacturing experience. Duties include PCB assembly, soldering, rework, product testing, final assembly, and fault diagnosis. Previous soldering and electronics assembly experience is highly desirable.
Responsibilities and Duties
Depending on experience and role level, duties may include:
- Component preparation and forming
- PCB population and assembly
- Conventional and SMT soldering to required quality standards
- Wave solder machine operation
- Inspection of assemblies and finished products
- Final assembly of products and systems
- Testing and verification of finished products
- Following manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and quality procedures
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or electronics production environment is desirable.
- Soldering experience (conventional and/or SMT) would be advantageous for Production Operator roles.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, manufacturing documentation, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Comfortable working with tools, small components, and electronic assemblies.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to manage time effectively, remain focused, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Capable of working accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team while also taking responsibility for individual tasks.
- Live local to Burgess Hill or happy to travel each day.

- Monday-Thursday, 8am-5:30pm
- Friday, 8am-1pm
