Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate EYFS Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones, and fostering a love of learning. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the growth and education of children aged 3 to 5 years, ensuring they are well-prepared for their future educational journey.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through innovative activities
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and share best practices
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and behaviour
- Manage behaviour positively and implement behaviour management strategies
- Lead small group activities to promote individualised learning experiences
- Contribute to the organisation of school events and extracurricular activities
- Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with organisational policies
- Participate in ongoing professional development programmes to enhance teaching skills
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children within early childhood settings or nurseries
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide young learners effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Childcare qualifications or relevant early childhood education certifications recognised within the UK
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Valid driving licence is desirable for travelling between locations or community engagement activities
- Passionate about working with children and committed to their holistic development
