Carbon Rewind is a national installer of energy efficient measures aimed at reducing heating bills and carbon emissions for homeowners and tenants. We are actively working with energy suppliers and local authorities to improve the thermal efficiency of properties.
We are seeking a reliable and organised Delivery Driver to join our growing team. Working out of our Wokingham warehouse the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering materials to domestic properties across England, ensuring goods are delivered safely, professionally and on time.
This is a varied role that combines driving, customer interaction and occasional warehouse support. In the warehouse you will be preparing the deliveries and maintaining warehouse cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver materials to domestic properties across England.
- Load and unload safely and efficiently.
- Assist installation operatives with offloading materials at customer properties when required.
- Collect waste materials from domestic properties.
- Complete delivery documentation accurately and maintain delivery records.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
- Support warehouse operations during quieter delivery periods.
- When needed, carry out picking, packing, stock handling, and general warehouse duties.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety procedures.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Previous delivery driving experience.
- Full UK driving licence with a good driving record.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving materials safely.
Desirable
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Experience in picking and packing using detailed picking lists.
- Forklift licence (if applicable).
