About the Role
We are a friendly and welcoming hospitality venue at the heart of our community in Tedburn St Mary, reopening following full refurbishment. We are dedicated to providing excellent service and a great experience for every guest. We are currently looking for full time bar staff to join our team and help deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced and enjoyable environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and responsibly.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and engage positively with customers.
- Process cash and card payments accurately using the till system.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the bar area.
- Restock beverages, glassware, and bar supplies as required.
- Check customer identification to ensure compliance with licensing laws.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Previous bar, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices is desirable.
