Job Overview
The Field Care Supervisor /Senior Carer role provides high-quality care and support to clients while assisting and supporting team members. The role involves maintaining positive relationships with clients, conducting quality assurance visits, and ensuring a high standard of care.
Main Responsibilities:
Deliver consistent, high-standard care and support to clients.
Serve as a positive role model for other staff members.
Maintain positive client relationships through quality assurance visits and communication.
Conduct client/carer introductions, observations, and spot checks.
Support with carer supervisions and be a buddy for new carers.
Support with client assessment reviews and risk assessments.
Participate in the on call rota.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to PPE and hygiene guidelines.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate client and staff records.
Provide personal care, assist with household tasks, and ensure a safe living environment for clients.
Additional Duties:
Administer and manage medication as per policy.
Prepare meals, assist with personal care, and support clients in daily living activities.
Work as part of a team and independently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience in senior care or a similar role is essential.
- Proven ability to lead and supervise a team effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining care records is preferred.
- A valid driving licence and access to a car is essential.
