We’re looking for Bank Companions to join Companion Grove CIC.
Companion Grove CIC supports people in Stafford and the surrounding towns and villages with companionship, community access, light practical support, wellbeing activities, hobbies, appointments, shopping, and social outings.
This is not personal care or medical care. It is about helping people feel connected, confident, safe, and supported in everyday life.
As a Bank Companion, you may support members with things like:
- Going out for coffee, shopping, garden centres, appointments, or social activities
- Friendly home visits and conversation
- Hobbies, memory-making, games, music, crafts, or gentle activity
- Light practical support around the home
- Helping someone plan their week, access services, or stay organised
We are looking for people who are:
- Warm, patient, and reliable
- Good listeners
- Calm and practical
- Respectful of people’s independence
- Comfortable supporting older adults or people who may feel isolated
- Able to work flexibly when visits become available
This is a bank role, so hours are flexible and offered depending on members need, staff availability, and suitability.
DBS check, safeguarding awareness, references, and training will be required.
If you are kind, dependable, and want to make a real difference in your local community, we would love to hear from you.
