Self-Employed Dog Groomer – Worsley Village
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Dog Groomer to join our busy salon in the heart of Worsley Village, working 3–4 days per week.
Do you currently groom from home and want a busier, more social environment? Are you looking to fill gaps in your diary without the stress of finding clients? We provide the dogs — fully booked and ready for you to groom.
This is a self-employed position with consistent income opportunities in a beautiful, established salon..
What You’ll Be Doing
- Grooming dogs to breed standards and client preferences, including bathing, clipping, hand scissoring, trimming, and styling
- Providing excellent customer care and grooming advice to clients
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic grooming environment
- Handling dogs calmly and confidently, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing at all times
- Managing appointments and encouraging repeat bookings (commission available on rebookings)
- Keeping grooming records and noting any special requirements or concerns
- Following all health and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Previous dog grooming experience is essential
- A caring, patient, and confident approach with animals
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload efficiently
- Knowledge of breed-specific grooming styles
- Grooming qualifications or certification preferred, but not essential
- Ability to safely handle larger dogs when required
