We are seeking a dedicated Office Cleaner to maintain a clean and hygienic working environment within our premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all office areas are tidy, sanitary, and presentable, contributing to a professional and welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors alike. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Duties
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces across all office areas
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, notifying management when stock levels are low
- Ensure all areas are kept organised and free from clutter
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or contamination
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is desirable but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable with a good work ethic and punctuality
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous but training will be provided for those new to the field
