The Role
You will support the Residential Property team with the progression of conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Supporting fee earners with the management of residential property transactions
- Preparing legal documentation and correspondence
- Opening files and carrying out compliance procedures
- Ordering searches and reviewing search results
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, brokers, and third parties
- Drafting SDLT forms and Land Registry applications
- Preparing completion statements and supporting completion processes
- Providing regular updates to clients and ensuring exceptional levels of client care throughout
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal or Legal Assistant role
- Good understanding of the residential conveyancing process
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive and professional approach to work
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Ambition to develop a long-term career within Residential Property
