Class 2 Tramper Driver – Flatbed

Goldfish Transport is recruiting a professional and reliable Class 2 Tramper Driver to join our growing operation running out of our Bradford depot. This is a 4-night-out per week tramping role, transporting construction materials on flatbed vehicles.
This role offers clear pay structure, paid nights out, and genuine overtime rates — no guesswork.
Pay & Hours
- £14.53 per hour
- Based on 45 paid working hours per week plus unpaid lunch break of 1 hour
- 1 hour unpaid lunch break per day
- £30 night-out allowance per night (fully paid)
- Overtime paid at £20.00 per hour
- Overtime calculated once monthly hours are exceeded
The Role
- Class 2 flatbed tramping
- 4 nights out per week
- Transporting construction materials nationwide
- Planned routes and realistic schedules
- Nights out paid
Key Responsibilities
- Safe and compliant operation of a Class 2 flatbed vehicle
- Load securing using ratchet straps and chains
- Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Professional interaction with customers and site staff
- Accurate completion of POD / POC paperwork
- Adherence to drivers’ hours, WTD, and company procedures
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Previous commercial HGV experience
- Flatbed experience essential
- Confident with load restraint
- SUD qualification desirable (not essential)
- Professional, reliable attitude
- Maximum of 3 points on driving licence
- No DR/DD/DG/TT endorsement codes accepted
