Academic Administrator
We are looking for an individual who has a great attention to detail, works well in a team but is able to manage their own workload, and will thrive in dynamic higher education context.
As a member of the Academic Support Service, you would contribute to the effective operation of administrative functions to support academic programmes. Team members in this role actively collaborate with academic and professional colleagues to ensure that an excellent quality of provision of administrative services is achieved and maintained at all times. The post-holder will contribute to a complex range of activities to maximise resource utilisation and added value.
Tasks include in this role are maintenance of student records, liaising with academic schools and partner institutions, acting as service officer for meetings and exam boards, and processing of student results.
All post holders are required to take ownership of their own performance and the relationships they build with students, partners, the public and colleagues, demonstrating a positive attitude and commitment to their work.
All post holders are required to work flexibly and to work across the university and the service as demand necessitates.
Successful applicants will be required to prove their right to work in the UK prior to the commencement of their employment.
