Web Developer
Job Location: Telford
Salary: £30K to £40K DOE - plus Company Package.
Start Date: ASAP – Full time role.
As our company continues to grow, we’re looking for 2 experienced skilled Web Developers to join our busy head office team in Telford. The right candidate should have between 1 to 3 years experience, can build features independently has the capable of growing into owning entire portals/projects within 6 months.
Requirements for the Role:
- Good working knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and modern web development practices
- Experience building applications using Node.js and React
- Experience contributing to or building full-stack web applications
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and backend concepts
- Experience working with databases (e.g. MongoDB, SQL Server, or similar)
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
- Comfortable working across both frontend and backend
- Experience using Git for version control
- Understanding of application security practices (authentication, handling user data)
- Ability to take ownership of features and progress them through to completion
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and services
Nice to Have:
- Experience deploying applications or exposure to hosting environments
- Familiarity with Linux-based servers
- Exposure to tools such as NGINX, APACHE, PM2, or similar
- Experience with Docker and containerised applications
- Understanding of environment configuration (dev/test/production)
- Awareness of application performance considerations
- Experience with LAMP stack
