As we continue to grow across the region, we are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of high‑quality residential developments in Newark.
About the role
Working closely with the Site Manager, you will play a key role in the day‑to‑day management of a residential construction site, helping to ensure homes are built safely, on programme and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Site Manager with daily site operations and planning
- Monitoring health and safety compliance and promoting a positive safety culture
- Coordinating subcontractors and trades on site
- Assisting with quality inspections and snagging to ensure build standards are met
- Helping to manage site programmes and short‑term planning
- Supporting materials management and deliveries
- Maintaining accurate site records and reports
- Contributing to a positive, respectful and collaborative site environment
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone who is motivated, organised and keen to develop their career in site management within a supportive and values‑driven business.
Essential:
- Experience working on residential construction sites
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive and professional approach
Desirable:
- Previous experience in an Assistant Site Manager or similar role
- Relevant site management qualifications or working towards them
- Knowledge of NHBC standards and build quality requirements
