Tri Pack Packaging Systems are a well-established manufacturing business based in Grimsby, with over 50 years in operation. Specialising in polypropylene packaging (including the Coolseal range), they supply customers across the UK and international markets including Iceland, Norway and the Faroe Islands.
Due to a planned retirement, Tri Pack are looking to appoint a Factory Maintenance Manager to take full ownership of site maintenance, with a structured handover from the current post holder.
The Role
- Manage all planned and reactive maintenance across the factory and site
- Oversee machinery including silk screen printers, die cutters, folder/gluers, extruders and compressors
- Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs
- Coordinate external contractors and specialist engineers
- Manage spare parts, consumables, and maintenance schedules
- Support Health & Safety compliance across machinery and operations
- Carry out hands-on work including fabrication, welding, and general repairs
Requirements
- Strong mechanical background (qualification preferred)
- Experience within a manufacturing / factory environment
- Electrical fault-finding capability (PLCs advantageous)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/schematics
- Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Previous experience overseeing maintenance or leading a function
