Overview
We are seeking a skilled Aluminium Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating aluminium components with precision and efficiency, contributing to high-quality products used across various industries. 8-4:30 Monday to Thursday and Friday 8-2

Duties
- Cutting, shaping, and assembling aluminium sheets and profiles according to technical drawings and specifications
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialised tooling to perform fabrication tasks
- Grinding and finishing aluminium surfaces to achieve smooth, polished results
- Welding aluminium components securely using appropriate techniques
- Interpreting technical drawings and basic measurements to ensure accurate assembly
- Performing routine inspections of fabricated parts for quality assurance
- Assisting in the setup and calibration of machinery and equipment used in fabrication processes
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace to adhere to safety standards
Skills
- Proven experience in aluminium fabrication, welding, grinding, and assembly processes
- Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of sheet metal properties and handling techniques
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised tooling safely and effectively
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience with sheet metal work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
