We’re currently recruiting a passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated school team in Iver. This is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact by supporting children with special educational needs (SEND) on a one-to-one basis. Role & Responsibilities of a SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Provide tailored SEND Teaching Assistant support to pupils with needs such as ASC and SEMH.
- Support children’s learning, behaviour management, and social development in a nurturing environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver engaging and accessible activities.
- Monitor, record, and report on student progress to ensure individual learning goals are met.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 months’ experience in a SEND, school, or care environment.
- A patient, enthusiastic, and compassionate approach is essential.
- Full-time availability: Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:00.
- Willingness to obtain a Child Only enhanced DBS check.
- Ideally located in or near Iver/Slough.
