Role Summary
This is a full-time role requiring the candidate to be available between the hours of 8:30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.
The role also requires a good relationship with your area sales rep to ensure our customers receive good customer service.
Full training in any systems will be provided. We expect a positive, proactive, and focused attitude towards the role and the associated duties.
Full support, instructions and training will be provided.
Main Responsibilities
Processing orders for the sales team
- Ensuring all orders are processed correctly and in a timely manner
- A proactive approach in communication with our customers to deliver excellent customer service
- Providing support to the sales team as and when required
- Processing schedules for larger customers
- Maintain customers back orders reports when required
- Making sure deadlines are met daily with regards to orders departing on time, if not putting measures/ a plan into place to ensure they are met
- Processing orders through Sage 200/ CRM
- Assisting with incoming telephone queries and requests such as customer enquiries
- Provide pricing, stock levels, stock availability to all customers when required
- Assist in the process of customers purchase orders for out-of-stock items through pre allocations
- Liaising with other departments to ensure orders are despatched efficiently
- Liaising with the customer to keep them informed of their order progress
- Assisting with tracking of orders/ providing information to the customer
- Processing export orders/ communicating the correct information to the warehouse and customer

- Experience of Sage would be preferable but not essential
