Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor's to ensure the safety and security of premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining order, preventing unauthorised access, and responding promptly to any incidents. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your presence helps create a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. The position is paid and requires a valid SIA licence.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entry and exit points, verifying identification and ensuring only authorised individuals gain access
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards
- Maintain a visible presence to deter antisocial behaviour and manage crowd control effectively
- Respond swiftly and professionally to any incidents or disturbances, including assisting with first aid if necessary
- Enforce venue policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and company standards
- Record incidents accurately in reports and communicate effectively with team members and emergency services when required
Skills
- Valid SIA licence with relevant security experience preferred
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing difficult situations professionally
- Basic first aid skills to provide immediate assistance in emergencies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanour
- Organised, vigilant, and attentive to detail in all aspects of security duties
