The Role
- Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Leading service and maintaining high food quality standards
- Assisting with stock control, ordering, and kitchen administration
- Training and developing junior members of the brigade
- Supporting menu development and seasonal dish creation
- Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are consistently maintained
- Helping drive kitchen performance, organisation, and consistency
About You
- Currently a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef ready for the next step
- Passionate about fresh food and seasonal ingredients
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Organised and calm under pressure
- Experience within quality-led restaurant, gastro pub, or hospitality environments
- A genuine team player who enjoys leading from the front
