Contract Labour Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for a Fencing Supervisor to work with out client who is an established construction company that specialises in the fencing sector, with work taking place in the Birmingham area (B1).
Pay: £240p/d
Duration: 12 weeks temp to perm
Role: Candidates will be completing the following tasks.
- Supervising site activities related to fencing and excavation works
- Ensuring all works comply with HSG47 safe digging practices and site safety procedures
- Managing Permit to Break Ground (PTBG) requirements and ensuring correct documentation is in place
- Coordinating and overseeing safe excavation around underground services
- Conducting site briefings, toolbox talks, and daily safety checks
- Ensuring operatives follow BBV and Flannery safe digging procedures
- Monitoring work progress and reporting updates to site management
- Liaising with archaeologists, engineers, and site teams where required
- Carrying out on-site vetting and compliance checks
- Ensuring PPE, equipment, and safety barriers are in place and maintained
- Managing risks and responding to any site safety concerns
- Supporting and guiding fencing operatives and labour teams on-site
Requirements: Candidates will need to show the following.
- HSG47 EUSR certification
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification
- Gold CSCS Card (minimum requirement)
- BBV induction (can be arranged)
- Flannery Safe Digging Practices Assessment and/or Responsible Person on BBV Site Assist (can be coordinated)
