At Burlington Mews Care Home, we’re not just opening a new service — we’re building a home. A 50-bedded, beautifully designed care home right by the Brighton seafront, where high-quality care meets warmth, dignity, and genuine human connection.
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Care Assistant to help shape the culture from day one — someone who leads by example, brings calm to busy shifts, and truly cares about making every moment matter.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll be the backbone of the shift — supporting residents while guiding and inspiring your team.
You’ll:
- Support residents with personal care, mobility, and daily living needs
- Lead shifts with confidence, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care
- Develop, review, and update person-centred care plans
- Support and mentor junior staff to maintain high standards
- Communicate effectively with families, professionals, and colleagues
- Maintain accurate, high-quality digital care records
- Identify changes in residents’ health or wellbeing and respond appropriately
- Promote dignity, independence, and respect in everything you do
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who brings both skill and heart to the role:
✔ Previous experience in a Senior Care Assistant role
✔ Confident leading a team and making decisions on shift
✔ Strong communication skills — calm, clear, and compassionate
✔ Comfortable using digital care systems
✔ A genuine passion for elderly care
✔ Positive, proactive, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
