Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Bank Nursery Practitioner to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's developmental needs
- Supervise children during play, learning, and mealtime, ensuring their safety at all times
- Foster a warm, inclusive environment that promotes social and emotional development
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support individualised care plans
- Manage daily operational tasks within the nursery setting, including organisation of resources
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and nursery policies
Requirements
- Previous nursery experience or early childhood education qualification is highly desirable
- Proven ability to work effectively with children, demonstrating patience and understanding
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of childcare regulations and best practices in early childhood development
- Ability to work as part of a team while also taking initiative independently
- Commitment to safeguarding children and maintaining confidentiality at all times
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
