We are looking for an experienced and passionate Waiter/Waitress to join the team at YOPO Zaytoun and Jurema Terrace, located within the award-winning five-star Mandrake Hotel in the heart of Fitzrovia.
YOPO Zaytoun is a destination restaurant inspired by the vibrant flavours and generous spirit of the Eastern Mediterranean. Led by a passion for seasonality, exceptional ingredients and warm hospitality, we offer an elegant sharing-style dining experience in one of London's most unique luxury hotel settings. Alongside the restaurant, Jurema Terrace provides a lush outdoor sanctuary where guests enjoy refined dining and expertly crafted cocktails surrounded by hanging gardens.
What you'll do
As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. You will be part of a dedicated team that prides itself on providing warm, attentive and personalised hospitality in a sophisticated and welcoming environment.
Reporting to the restaurant supervisory and management team, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing attentive, knowledgeable and friendly table service throughout the guest journey
- Guiding guests through the menu and making recommendations on food and beverage pairings
- Taking accurate food and drink orders and ensuring timely service
- Maintaining excellent knowledge of our menus, ingredients and seasonal offerings
- Ensuring tables are prepared and presented to the highest standards
- Anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to requests
- Working closely with colleagues across the restaurant and bar to deliver seamless service
- Upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and professionalism
What we're looking for
- At least 1 year's experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a premium restaurant, luxury hotel or similar hospitality environment within Central London
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A warm, professional and engaging personality
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment
- A desire to learn, grow and develop within the hospitality industry
- A collaborative approach and commitment to being a supportive team member
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities
