About Us
At Happy Days Nursery Warwick, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where children feel valued, secure, and inspired to explore. We are committed to delivering high-quality early years education while maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding and care.
Working Hours
- Minimum 30 working hours per week (this is a apprenticeship requirement)
- You will also be required to complete online assessments and tasks set by the Apprenticeship training provider. We will set up your apprenticeship.
- Includes one set day off during the week
- Shifts between 7.30am-6pm and will be 8-10 hours a day, dependent on age and suitability.
- Our nursery is open for 51 weeks per year, we are not a Term Time only nursery.
The Role
As a Childcare Apprentice in our nursery, you will learn with support how to:
- Provide high-quality care for children aged 0–5 years
- Support babies and children's emotional, physical, and developmental needs
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
- Build strong, trusting relationships with babies, children and their families
- Carry out observations and maintain learning records
- Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene procedures
- Work as part of a supportive and collaborative team
Happy Days Nursery Warwick is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
All applicants will be subject to:
- Enhanced DBS check and Children’s Barred List check
- Registration with the DBS Update Service (required upon appointment)
- Verification of identity, qualifications, and employment history
- Satisfactory references
Successful candidates will also be required to:
- Attend Safeguarding training
- Attend Paediatric First Aid training
- (Training will be arranged and provided by the nursery)

Salary
- Apprentice wage starts at £8 per hour

Additional Information
