Maintenance & Development Manager Reporting To
- Project Manager / Director & Park Operations
Purpose of the Position To act as the Leisure & Residential Park Maintenance & Development Manager for our client and other designated parks within the surrounding area.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Assist with the siting and commissioning of caravans and park homes
- Carry out repairs, maintenance, development, or siting tasks within your skill set across the park and occasionally other parks within the area
- Conduct aftersales work and refurbishments on caravans, park homes, and rented accommodation
- Support the Park Office Team with daily operations within the Maintenance & Development teams
- Assist with managing contractors and suppliers visiting or working on-site
- Support training and induction of new and existing team members
- Carry out staff appraisals and manage performance and disciplinary processes
- Assist in reviewing and updating Health & Safety policies and ensure compliance
- Handle resident or caravan owner complaints related to aftersales, maintenance, or development issues
Mandatory Responsibilities
- Attend all training required by the company relevant to the role
ISO Responsibilities
- Attend ISO Representative meetings
- Support audits and ensure the smooth running of the Quality Management System (QMS)
Health & Safety Responsibilities (Management)
- Develop and implement Health & Safety procedures in line with current legislation
- Ensure procedures are clearly communicated, effectively monitored, and regularly reviewed

Person Specification Education & Qualifications Essential:
Desirable:
- Gas, Plumbing, Electrical, or General Maintenance qualification
- NVQ Level 1, 2, or 3 (or equivalent) in Building or Construction
- CSCS Card
Experience Essential:
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
Desirable:
- Experience in construction, building, or development industry
- Experience within the caravan or residential park home industry
Knowledge & Skills Essential:
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads
- Ability to work as part of a team or supervise a team
- Strong skills with confidence in own work
- Knowledge of best practice and Health & Safety policies within a caravan or residential park environment

Other Requirements Essential:
- Valid driving licence
- Machinery and plant certification
