We are looking for a talented person with meticulous attention to detail to carry out the preparation of used tractors and farm machinery ready for resale at our Holmes Chapel depot. This may suit someone with a passion for agriculture machinery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Washing, degreasing, and polishing of the tractors and machines,
- Carrying out small repairs, electrical and mechanical
- Refinishing, preparation and respraying, touching up paintwork etc.
- Basic checks, fluid levels, greasing checking for missing items etc.
- Final polishing and valeting.
- Maintain a clean work environment, and assist with overall workshop organisation.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment
- Good customer service skills
- Familiar with manufacturer’s products
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends on a rota basis.
