Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Waitress to join our team on a fixed-term basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring guests have a positive dining experience, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high service standards
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the dining experience
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables and service areas
- Assist with setting up and closing down the restaurant as required
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Follow all company policies, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
- Process payments and handle bills accurately when required
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Team player with good attention to detail
Desirable Skills
- Experience using POS systems
- Knowledge of food hygiene and allergen awareness
- Multilingual skills are advantageous
Pay: £12.71 per hour
